This is a lovely rectangular shaped  C19 th mahogany box with a bone inlaid panel which is labelled ‘Spelling & Alphabet’, on the sliding lid. Inside there are approximately 82 bone letter tiles. These are double- sided with upper case letters on one side and lower case on the other.
