A very good early 1800s table snuff box. The lid is veneered in a tumbling block pattern, typical of the Tunbridge Ware pattern from c1820. Lots of different woods have been used to give a striking appearance including ebony, olive wood,  palm wood, tulip wood to name a few.
It measures 12.2cm w x 7.7cm d x 2.3cmh.
