An early 1800s whitewood oval cribbage board with a central blue Bilston enamel plaque saying in faded lettering, 'A Trifle From Brighton', surrounded by a floral border. This is a very unusual feature and would have been much more expensive than the more usual paper labels used.
The board stands on four turned wooden feet and has a space on the underside of the board for storing pegs.
The board measures 14cm l x 8cm w. A very attractive Georgian games board.
