This is a lovely 19th century snuff shoe. It has many attributes, firstly the lovely colour and patina. It has a very unusual feature of  being a puzzle snuff box with the opening of the snuff shoe being on the base, a double lid. This lovely shoe snuff box also has a brass inlaid heart on the top along with button decoration.
