A 19th century egg cup stand with six turned laburnum egg cups. The stand has a central turned stem ending in a ball shaped handle, for ease to pick up.
Each egg cup is turned from laburnum wood and is held in place on the stand with a wooden peg which protrudes from the base of the stand, the base of the egg cup has a hole to slot into the peg.
A decorative and useful piece.
The stand measures approx 18cm w x 18cm h at the highest point of the central handle.
Each egg cup measures 7.5cm h x 4.5cm w.
