A lovely long handled 19th century antique Welsh cawl ladle made from one piece of wood.
This sycamore ladle has developed a lovely dark colour through use. The bowl has two old repairs to the rim of it, done very well. It has a hook on the end of the long handle with unusually initials T H carved into it.
It measures 49cm l x 12.5cm w at the bowl end.
