This is a lovely early 1800s yew wood e antique treen gg cup & salt stand.  Comprising in yew wood ,of a beautifully turned circular base, bobbin turned stem and circular top. which has six circular holes for the  turned yew wood egg cups to be stored.
In the centre at the top is a turned central salt, this would have been for placing salt in for seasoning the eggs.
A lovely piece being made from yew wood, great colour and patina.
